The Old Parliament House Upgrade H.E. Sugars and Son Pty Ltd finished in 2014 contributing to yet another Master Builders Award.
The project was to redevelop and upgrade the building in a manner that is sensitive to the heritage and historical context of the building and to provide a wholly 21st century functional and fully accessible building to meet long term requirements of the state and ensure ongoing maintenance of a significant piece of the state’s building history.
Building of Old Parliament House commenced in 1843 and there have been at least 28 additions or improvements over the years.
