About Us

H.E. Sugars and Son Pty Ltd is a family owned and operated wall and ceiling business, situated in Grange since 1945. Harry and Silvia Sugars started the business with their son Lloyd Sugars.

They started off manufacturing and installing their own Fibrous Plaster sheets, Cornices and Centre Pieces. They then moved into doing shop ceilings and into suspended Tbar ceilings. The company built their own Acoustic Ceiling tile machine where they manufactured Acoustic Ceiling Tiles up until the late 1990’s. During this period they also cut, punched and painted their own Aluminum Tbar ceiling grid. The company no longer manufacturers their own materials and have long standing relationships with their suppliers.

Lloyd Sugars is now retired, Barry Sugars along with his two sons Ryan and Troy continue to move the business forward by building a reputation for a high quality finish.
